Congratulations Muriel and Ellen!

VOLUNTEERING WITH LONG ISLAND BLOOD  SERVICES

The benefits of volunteering with the Long Island Blood Services (LIBS):
As  canteen volunteers, we interact with post-donation people. We provide a sense of security and safety by:
  • informing them of the proper way to sit in order to avoid a reaction
  • providing them with necessary liquids to replenish their blood volume
  • upon leaving, we thank them for sharing - they thank us for caring

It's a win-win situation!

LIBS quote: "Among volunteers there are no ordinary people."

Interested? Call Robin 516-478-5108 or Sharan 516-478-5164. Identify yourself as MWI and join us.
