What does it mean to volunteer? Volunteering is described as giving back. But those of us who volunteer know it's much more than that. Volunteering as described in our MWI mission means serving the community and raising funds for worthwhile causes. MWI depends on volunteers. All progams and events, fundraisers and study groups' success depends on your participation.
As I reflect on my experience with this organization, I realize how grateful I am to be in the company of women who are bright and interested in life in these quickly changing times. I have learned many things both from the study group presenters and other members. I have also benefited from the friendships that I have made along the way.
I once again encourage every member reading this bulletin to become involved this coming year. Remember, together we can accomplish more than anyone can do alone.
Thank you, thank you, to all members of the 2025-2026 board. I think we've been very successful in our many endeavors. I am very looking forward to working with all of you again in the coming year.
