This article was printed in Forbes Magazine titled, "The Power of Lifelong Learning and How Curiosity forges Mastery."

It describes Curiosity as the deesire to explore, question, and discover new knowledge and experiences, the natural human inclination that is required for lifelong learning. It allows individuals to seek new information, skills, and perspectives.

It defines Lifelong Learning as the pursuit of excellence and the constant desire to achieve one's full potential. It is a process of continuous improvement and refinement. It discusses how to expand one's knowledge, widen one's skill set, and cultivate one's inellect by taking on new challenges.

The author goes on to state the benefits of individuals being able to stay ahead of the curve in today's fast-paced world. Engaging in new challenges and learning experiences can also help reduce stress and anxiety by providing a sense of accomplishment and purpose.

All the positive things this article refers to reminded me of Meadowbrook Women's Initiative's mission statement. To paraphrase our mission statement: We are dedicated to promoting lifelong learning, serving the community, and raising funds for worthy causes. The members of MWI are living proof of what it takes to live a fulfulling and useful life.

So, at this festive time of the year, let us all give ourselves a great big HOORAY! Wishing you all a Happy New Year with good health, love, and fun. Stay safe.
