The Feinstein Institute for Medical Research
Our MWI Liaison to Feinstein, Carol Brier, has arranged this visit to the internationally prominent research entity of the North Shore-LIJ Health System. It serves as the training base for medical and PhD graduate students of the new medical school at Hofstra.
Its world-class scientists bring knowledge and innovation in clinical areas such as Molecular Genetics, Neuroscience, Autoimmunity, Immunology, and Psychiatric Disorders.
Our visit will begin with coffee and cookies, followed by a docent-led tour of their state-of-the-art facility. We will then have a buffet lunch and conclude with a short lecture.
Cost: $19.00 for lunch and tour.

Directions: Exit 33 North on the Long Island Expressway (Community Drive.) North on Community Drive to main entrance on the right. Parking Lot #3. Immediate first right to Feinstein Institute (closest building.) There will be valet parking, but please carpool.
