Meadowlark  Musings

The Meadowlarks are tuned up and ready to perform!
Unfortunately, the September concert had to be cancelled because of a health issue.  Now they are looking forward to singing for you, as always at the Chanukah Party.  They received sparkling reviews last year and hope to do the same this year.

Do you remember that, at the Chanukah Party, the Meadowlarks and the audience sang a silly version of "The Dreidel Song?"  It went something like this:
     I had a little dreidel,
I made it out of bread,
I could not spin my dreidel,
     I ate it up instead!

The Meadowlarks are soliciting your entries.  We would like more verses to add to our song.  They must follow the general outline of the above verse: (4 lines, second and fourth rhyme).  We (and you, the audience) will sing the winning entries and announce the winners at the Chanukah Party.  Have fun!  All you budding lyricists, get your creative juices flowing!  Please send entries for our contest to info@meadowbrookwomen.org.

We'll see you and sing with you on December 8th, at 11:00 AM at the Oceanside Jewish Center.  For directions: http://www.oceansidejc.org/directions/
